OBJECTIVES:

EXPERIENCE:

July-August 2008  -  Short Film Lights Out - Project Twenty1 / PegBar Productions  -  Freelance

Character Animator

·       Responsible for completing character-based animation shots for 21-day film competition.

·       Duties included: Thumbnails, Blocking, Refining, and Polishing character and prop animation, as-well-as rough and final Layout, using pre-built models.

·       Worked with a team of 7 animators and collaborated to ensure good hook-ups between shots and a consistent performance.

·       12-seconds of physicality-intensive footage completed under a two-week deadline.

·       Final film won “Best Animation” award at the Project Twenty1 Film Festival – October 2008

PRIOR EMPLOYMENT:

Video Compressionist – Video-On-Demand

·         Responsible for compression / encoding of feature films and television series from Warner Bros. and other studios for Video-on-Demand, Streaming Internet video, and download-to-own “Electronic Sell-Through” applications.

·         Provide technical assistance as needed to other departments (DVD Compression, Authoring, QC, Blu-Ray compression), as well as troubleshooting of problems with computers, decks, routing.

·         Research-and-Development of new and alternative production workflows for the department.

Freelance Film / Video Production and Post – Self-Employed

·       Performed many Freelance production duties for television shows, films, and commercials, such as camera operator, location sound, grip, gaffer, as well as producing and directing short films and television segments.

·      Created over 150 2D digital effects shots for independent features, television, and short films, including such skills as compositing, rotoscoping, motion tracking, digital paint and rig removal.

·       Produced Corporate / Industrial video programs for a wide variety of clients in the Detroit area.
