The Fenville Times was a phony online newspaper created as a build-up / tease to the November 20, 2003 World Premiere of Secrets of Fenville. The website was designed to look like the official rag of the film's fictional City of Fenville. In addition to acting as an Official Site for the film, with information on the nine stories that make up the film, cast and crew lists, trailers, and promotional materials, the site also featured "News" about the happenings in the fictional city. The news stories, concocted by Secrets of Fenville co-Director and Webmaster Richard Ferrando, ran the gamut from establishing histories for the characters in film, to stories related to the film itself, to completely fictional goings-on that had nothing to do with the film. With the newly-designed Secrets of Fenville site now active, the older site design and concept is being abandoned. However, since we put so much damn work into the old one, we will be keeping the Fenville Times active as an archive. All of the old stories from the City oif Fenville can be found in the News Archive. Most sections of the site will not display the old images used for the individual pages and most of the links in the cast and crew lists will not work, since those items have been moved for use in the new site. However, those legendary "Easter Eggs" are still laying around. :-) |
